There is parking along the street, a lot on 4th and Brady, and near St. Anthony's church.

Oh, and strangling weeds by the neck! Yes! 😍 Lobe that description. We need all the modes of therapy we can get right now!

I am not calm this morning. His actions have to do with the successes of Obama and Biden and the one big diaster of a parade. I think he needs to feel he is a "manly man" when he is a coward and low-life, running around destroying other people's lives. It is a distraction from his One Big Ugly Bill that could have disastrous consequences.

Well I was going to comment something quite similar but you summed it up well Jane. I have situational and Social Panic and Anxiety disorder and a couple now of gut health issues that I just can't get under control and all these things started when the ruination of the country and his stuffed trophy wife came down that tacky ass escalator with taco's employees milling around like it had fans. I hope we all survive this but frankly....I just don't know and that is anxiety inducing. Everything it does is for it's own demented reason's that only fox news gets. Have a good one Jane.

I too grew up at a time of fear. Des Moines is not far from the SAC base. Occasionally our windows rattled from the sonic boom. I was afraid with each plane, this was the one with a bomb. Is it Russia attacking or us defending? Either way, our deaths will be long drawn out miserable affairs.

In high school I came across The Babylon Affair. As a military wife, that book made much sense. (Must have as I read it 50+ years ago). As an adult I believed nuclear war would be a total accident. A pilot would misunderstand the orders. Now I'm terrified for my Grands... for so many reasons I'm terrified for my Grands.

Thanks for the name calling! Not being allowed to swear, I read the dictionary so I'd have a healthy supply of names for my sister. Sure wish I'd had you as a bestie.

You have the BEST names for him!! Definitely gonna need to remember to use some of those.

The sweaters and vests are gorgeous!! (But are making me sweat to look at them )

Sally Rooney made a huge splash in the literary world but I think I remember having mixed feelings about her debut! I’ll be curious to see if you like this one.

Planning to be there on the 5th!

I am excited about it. Debbie read The Book Club for Troubled Women and liked it. All three of us seem to like the same books. I will miss you in August.
