Louise Penny books even better in order, starting with Still Life. There’s a thread through them all that builds into a big story as the series goes on. Enjoy!!
Love the logo…and this old broad definitely understands the need for buckets of ibuprofen to keep our gardening dreams alive! Thanks for a nice start to the week!
Stubborn seeds! I waited three weeks for my second batch of jimmy nardello peppers to germinate after the first batch was a no-show. I dunno. The warm mat under the tray usually (!) works. I have never tried growing ageratum from seed. Maybe I will next year.
Ah yes, watch the sunrise for sure. Sunsets are great too. (Accompanied by a nice bourbon)
I have six chicks this spring. My chicken chores last a little longer. I will be glad when I can introduce them into the flock! It helps keep my mind off of current events at least for a little bit. 😜 Looking forward to the FarmHers Market!
Love love your logo. I can relate to the whole being an old gardener! A little unsolicited advice from an old retired surgeon— take your ibuprofen with something on your stomach, ice pack to what ever aches right afterwards and go to bed with a good heating pad ( one that turns off by itself).
I & some young friends planted about 500 daffodils end of 2024. Now I want even more! Also going to plant in the lawn “minor” bulbs cause plain green is boring.

Libby is the best!
I am looking at the gardens and thinking, how long will it take to get things in shape without aggravating bursitis or my shoulder.
The brain has the energy that the body does not. 😊🌷
