I always love to read your "musings," but this week made me laugh! I was smiling at your book comments, but then I laughed out loud at your canning plans. I also use reading as a way to disengage from our current woes. I enjoy Rachel Linden (The Secret of Orange Blossom Cake) and Nina Simon (Mother Daughter Murder Night). These writers are a little lighter and cozier than real life. They help keep my blood pressure happy! Keep up your diary writing. That really gives my spirits a boost, too!
I read Democracy Awakening when it first came out. It's one of the few books I've purchased. It's a great read!
I’m reading hotel Nantucket, there’s a ghost and it’s already made me laugh and only 50 pages in!
You are a prolific reader. I'm listening to Heart of the Lover by Lily King. It "meh" to me.
The opening of the Obama Presidential Center gives us hope. Let's try to cling to that. I miss him and Michelle so much.
Oh, where would we be without a good book?
I want to read Regime Change as well but not ready right now. I need to read a few more escape books first!
Love your posts. See you soon at your Farm Hers market. Take care!
